Good to know

::Beds:: Wren Song’s king size beds use the Zinus Green Tea memory foam mattress (12"). The mattress is medium firm, which we've found to be the most comfortable for the greatest number of people. The twin beds have memory foam/innerspring hybrid mattresses that are also medium firm. ::Kitchen:: Our kitchen is fully stocked and ready for you to share meals and make memories with your friends and family. Feel free to use the pantry staples provided. ::Laundry:: For guests' convenience, we provide a washer and dryer along with enough laundry detergent to get you started. ::Family Amenities:: We love when families get to come share quality time at Wren Song and are well-stocked for our youngest guests. You will find: - pack n' play (bring your own sheets) - children's dishes and utensils - toys ::Fireplace:: Gas fireplace may be turned off during hot summer months because of the extra heat it generates in the cabin. ::Outdoor:: Wren Song is a wonderful place to spend time outdoors enjoying our hot tub, fire pit, and propane grill. We do not provide firewood or propane (only tank). Firewood and propane refills can both be purchased at Ingles (10 minute drive). ::Winter Weather:: Guest safety is our top priority. If Bryson City is forecast to receive winter weather during your stay and you feel uncomfortable with road conditions, we're happy to work with you to cancel or reschedule, regardless of the cancellation policy for your booking. This was a perfect house and location for our family of five. Everyone had their own space. The kitchen was well stocked. We spent our days hiking and kayaking, and it was perfect to come back to this house at the end of the day to relax. Would definitely stay again!

I loved Alison’s place. The cabin was very peaceful and you can hear all the sounds of the forest. There was even a deer with 2 fawn one morning. The kitchen was fully loaded which was perfect for me because I cook all my meals. It had seasoning and everything 😂. The beds were very comfortable and the locals around town were very friendly. The Airbnb is close to a good amount of attractions including deep creek trail, great smoky mountains, and the nantahala outdoor center which you HAVE TO check out for zip lining, white water rafting and more. Thank you for everything Alison!

We really enjoyed our stay at Wren Song. The cabin was very clean. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything you need including a new teapot. I’m a tea drinker and most places, if they even have a teapot, it’s old and rusted. I loved that Alison provided paper towels, TP, cleaning supplies, and soap, shampoo and conditioner! And I think our favorite thing was the hot tub. We were so surprised at how clean and big it was. The location was perfect for us. We went hiking and tubing at Deep Creek one day and tubing at Cherokee Rapids the next. Both were very close and super fun!! I would definitely recommend Wren Song and look forward to coming back soon 😊

We had a wonderful time at Alison's place. We love Bryson City, there was so much close by to do. Alison's home was so comfortable and conveniently stocked with everything a family needs to feel at home. We saw deer walk by up the hill several mornings. The beds were comfortable and that's a must! We also selected Alison's home specifically because it had two bedrooms with King beds. Thanks for hosting us, Alison!

We really enjoyed this place, it was very clean, beds were comfortable, it was cozy, and just an all around pleasant stay, the hot tub was relaxing, while there we did some hikes, ate at an Italian restaurant there in Bryson city which we really liked, and did a Walnut Creek farm tour to see highland cows. Made great memories with family. I would recommend this place for sure. Thanks for letting us stay here.

We had an awesome 4 night stay! The cabin is close to Bryson City (10-12 min drive), but secluded in the woods. We enjoyed hot tub time and s'mores by the fire everynight. The value of Alison's cabin is incredible. Our favorite activities were: Road to Nowhere hike, Finger Lake, exploring the Cherokee reservation and Whitewater rafting with Wild Water. We took Alison's recommendations to eat at the Rice Wagon (and sitting on a rooftop brewery to enjoy it!) and Everett Bistro - all excellent. And the ice cream at the chocolate shop was incredible. We had a great stay - thank you so much!

Overall, we were very pleased with all aspects of our stay at our cabin. The location is very convenient for all the activities we planned. The fire pit was enjoyed by everyone-multiple evenings and the children's games/movies were a blessing for our 4 yo Grandson. Alison was easy to communicate with very responsive to our needs.

Find us

The cabin has level parking for 2-3 vehicles. Wren Song has a Level 2 charger (ChargePoint) for electric vehicles. It is located next to the driveway at the rear of the cabin. We are the third cabin up a mountain on a single-lane gravel road. The road is well maintained and generally passable with 2WD, though extreme weather can affect road conditions. Mountain driving can be intimidating for those unused to the roads, but you should be fine as long as you take it slow. Neighborhood roads further up the mountain are steeper and require 4WD. Please do not attempt to explore the community without the appropriate vehicle.
